Two of C.I.T’s ‘outstanding’ schools; Sandon School and Ambergate Sports College lead the teaching school. Working alongside and in collaboration with the other teaching schools within Lincolnshire they specialise in all areas of Special Educational Needs and as such their aim is to support all schools to ensure that all pupils within Lincolnshire who have SEN receive an outstanding education.
Teaching Schools have a crucial role in driving school improvement through leadership in developing a self-improving and sustainable school-led system. Teaching schools are centres of excellence, taking a focused role that prioritises core or key objectives.
