• FREE SCHOOL UPDATE - 22nd September 2016
    C.I.T. presented their Free School plans to the DfE on the 25th of May 2016. 

    The Department for Education has now fed back to us and suggested we provide more information on our vision.

    We are doing so and would welcome any feedback and suggestions that you may have on this matter.

    We have been informed that we need to complete this updated application before 27th September 2016, so any urgent feedback would be greatly received.

  • GANF Sensory Garden is officially opened!FullSizeRender 48

    GANF Schools have been fundraising and earlier this year they achieved their target of £25,000! They now have a fabulous Sensory Garden that will provide alternative learning and invaluable enrichment for their pupils. Nick Boles MP, came along to cut the ribbon.   • Lincolnshire School joins C.I.T.Woodlands Academy logo

    The Lady Jane Franklin School, an Ofsted-rated “Outstanding” school in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, has converted to academy status and renamed to become The Woodlands Academy. They will now join C.I.T.

    The Woodlands Academy is a special school for pupils aged 11-16, with SEMH (Social, Emotional + Mental Health Needs). The school runs a creative and bespoke curriculum tailored to meet the academic and social needs of their students. Read more...

    Mr Maltby and Mr Caress completed an immense 1,000 mile cycling challenge across the country to raise funds for GANF school activities. The teachers that took on the challenge were cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats with support from two other staff members, Mr Bogumsky and Mr Buckberry.

  • C.I.T. Outstanding Schools lead a new Teaching Schoolpencil-logo-v3a-1024w

    LEARN Teaching School Alliance is a new teaching school having gained accreditation in September 2015.

    Sandon School and Ambergate Sports College lead the teaching school, working alongside and in collaboration with the other teaching schools within Lincolnshire they will develop the following areas (known as The Big Six): 

  • Gold Award for Isaac Newton Primary School! gold

    Isaac Newton Primary School has received the Sainsbury’s School Games Mark. They are the only primary school in Grantham to receive it and the award comes as recognition for all the extra curricular 'clubs' that the school offers. This includes the leadership opportunities available for playground leaders, sports council and bronze ambassadors.
