    To celebrate 20 years of supporting school breakfast clubs, Kellogg’s has awarded Greenfields Academy in Grantham £1,000 to enhance their breakfast club and help feed children in the morning. 

    Breakfast clubs help with everything from attendance and attainment to alleviating hunger and providing pre-school care.

  • DuxfordGreenfields Pupils Visit Duxford 

    Pupils from KS3 were given the opportunity to visit The Duxford Imperial War Museum in Cambridge. IWM Duxford is home to an impressive collection of over two hundred aircraft as well as tanks, military vehicles and maritime craft.

    The trip was organised to help pupils understand the importance of The Royal Air force during the last century.

  • Burning Bike2Woodlands pupil's 12ft burning bike finally gets lit!

    We reported earlier in the year that Woodlands Academy pupils were asked by Coastal Events CIC to design and build a 12ft high wooden bike for Lincolnshire Bike Week. Following the cancellation of the event in July, the pupil’s giant creation was finally set a light on Sunday night at a spectacular firework extravaganza!

    Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £4,000 raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores awarded to local community projects.

    Caythorpe Primary School pupils have been learning CPR and basic first aid as part of Restart a Heart Day.
    Young people up and down the country have been learning how to save lives. Restart a Heart Day 2018 saw the partnership once again of LIVES, The British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross, St Johns Ambulance, and all of UK ambulance services, to train a minimum of an incredible 195,000 young people in life saving CPR.  Read more...

    A teenager's dreams of a career in space research have gone into orbit after earning the best GCSE results ever at The Priory Special School in Spalding.

    Nathaniel Reynolds is now starting his second week as a sixth-former studying A-Levels in Chemistry, Maths and Physics having collected GCSE grades of 7 and 8 in English Language, Maths and Double Science.
