    Children from Isaac Newton Primary School were treated to lunch last month, to celebrate their reading programme with Grantham Book Services. The lunch took place at The Gingerbread, Trent Road, where they also got to test their knowledge in a quiz and play games.

  • Thank you Princebuild!Priory Vests

    A building firm have donated hundreds of pounds worth of running kit to The Priory School to help them look their best during competitions. Princebuild of Gosberton provided the pupils with 20 new running vests and presented them during a recent assembly.

    Isaac Newton Primary School have had their most successful year in sporting events to date!

    It has been the best ever, winning a total of six trophies in various schools competitions.

    The Ambergate Outdoor Classroom was officially opened last Friday (14thJuly 2017) in memory of a former fundraiser for the school, Gemma Burland. Gemma was a member of FOSA (the official PTA for GANF) and because of her efforts over the previous 2 years, she helped to raise a whopping £30,000 for GANF!

    Her husband, Scott, and children, Zak and Emily, came along to the opening.

    Thanks to the Edina Trust, The Garth School have been able to purchase a much longed for Polytunnel!

    Because of Garth pupil needs and them being visual and sensory learners, the school felt passionately about bringing the science curriculum to life for them.


  • Renewable energy at Woodlands Academy!wind turbine

    The Edina Trust have awarded Woodlands Academy £500 for their fantastic, forward thinking, ‘Natural Energy’ project.

    Students and staff at Woodlands Academy have spent the last 2 years clearing and transforming a disused wooded area into a fantastic educational woodland environment. 

    Thanks to The Edina Trust, we have been able to purchase a Wind Turbine and can’t wait to get it installed so that pupils can engage in this fabulous environment, using natural energy.  Read more...

  • John Fielding School awarded £9,389 from the Lottery! John Fielding playground2

    John Fielding School are thrilled to announce they have received £9,389 grant from The National Lottery Awards for All Scheme.

    This great news meant that upgrades could be made to the children’s playground area to improve playtime.

    under the Academies Act 2010 and is proposing to join Caythorpe logo screenshot
    The Community Inclusive Trust.

    The formal consultation period will start on 6th September 2017.

  • Ambergate Sports College gets ‘Outstanding’ from Ofsted Ofsted Outstanding OP Colour

    Ofsted Inspectors visited Ambergate on 27th June 2017.  It has been 4 years since their last inspection.

    This school continues to be outstanding.

  • C.I.T. announces new school for Grantham Visual 3

    C.I.T. Academies are pleased to confirm that we will be opening a brand new mainstream primary in Grantham. The new school will be built to the north west of the town within the new Poplar Farm Estate.

    The Department for Education made the announcement today that Poplar Farm School has been approved to open in Grantham in September 2018.
